Eric Freytag is a principal of Dorado Capital. He co-chairs the Investment Committee and oversees acquisitions, investments, and portfolio management. With a long-term outlook, Eric believes that Real Estate is the best asset class for wealth creation and preservation. Eric has been active in all sectors of real estate since 2008 when he co-founded ACR and Fairway Properties. ACR is a real estate brokerage firm focused on multifamily and residential investment properties and Fairway is a 3rd party management company that has an active portfolio of over 1,000 + units. Eric has acquired, operated, and invested in numerous projects around Austin ranging from conversion and repurposing of existing assets, to ground-up developments. He is also the founder of Copper Creek Royalty which invests in oil and gas mineral and royalty interests. Eric is a member of the Urban Land Institute and Real Estate Council of Austin and is involved with numerous charity organizations. He resides with his wife and two children in Austin, TX. He graduated with honors from the McCombs school of business, earning a Master’s in Accounting.
